Doreen O’Connor

My love of nature and objects with a history have informed my art whether in landscapes in acrylic, watercolor or pastel on panel, or paper or the murals I do in public and private spaces. I greatly enjoy the process of plein air painting whenever possible as it puts me in direct contact with the environment be that in hot sun or chill winds. Setting up an easel on a beautiful day then being surprised by a snow squall is an adventure. Having been able to make a living with my art for the past 30 years has been a great joy and point of pride.
