Karen Madden

The love of working with my hands has taken me on an artistic journey with two disparate mediums: one hard and one soft: metal and fiber. Though the equipment, tools, and raw materials couldn’t be more different, working with these materials presents similar challenges for me, both in design and execution. The end result has to be colorful but how I get there with each one is the adventure that captures me.
