In 2017 ArtEast self-financed a fiberglas turtle project that would be placed on Pawling’s Village Green. Artea has become an attraction with people frequently taking selfies with her. She has also traveled to environmental events with local non-profits including the Friends of the Great Swamp, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and Great Hollow.
