I have been blessed by living on a farm my whole life, with relatively short intervals working as a veterinarian in tropical and exotic environments, laced with additional short periods in academia. These opportunities have been stimuli to innovate. It’s a blessing to have time and space to “putter” with items that seem to abound and clutter our culture, such as outdated electronic tools and relics from the disappearing local agriculture scene. Feeding the creative urge to make useful objects and conversation pieces satisfies my urge to pass on agrarian philosophy. Chuckles, smiles, and even laughter are the goal of this genre of “art.”
